A = Mr. David Jones Bowie's 'Starman' covered by ... Culture Club (?) ... never heard this afore but it sure sounds like Boy George on vocals.

World Cup fever has me identifying nations.

F = Scotland's own Travis covering the Band's 'The Weight' ... bonus question; Which member of the Band was USA-born? (The others are all Canadian)

So B + C are Delgados or Beautiful South; but which is which?

You got three right, which three I will not say (until next week). Levon Helm is of course the non-Canuck in The Band, and Gerry Rafferty is actually of the same heritage as Travis and The Delgados.

Hmmm ... my guess on D seems weakest ... could that be Joe Jackson covering Steely Dan? I saw him at Wolftrap once but that was long ago. Curious. (Bonus: Rumba, Samba, or Cha-Cha?)

If so, who IS embracing the Reaper?

I'm revising my remarks:

C is now Joe Jackson. Still clueless on Delgados & Beautiful South ....
